At Boat Media, we are proud to see two projects that passed through our VFX pipeline reaching outstanding recognition on both national and international stages.
Homo Argentum
Directed by Mariano Cohn and Gastón Duprat, Homo Argentum has already drawn more than 1.7 million viewers in Argentina. The film is now preparing for an international journey with theatrical releases in Spain, France, Germany, Italy, and the United States.
Boat Media worked on 146 VFX shots for the film.
Homo Argentum has also been preselected to represent Argentina at the Academy Awards in the Best International Feature Film category, as well as at the Goya Awards for Best Ibero-American Film.
Belén
Directed by Dolores Fonzi, Belén continues to earn its place in major festivals. The film was selected for the Official Competition at the San Sebastián International Film Festival.
Boat Media delivered 87 VFX shots for the project.
Like Homo Argentum, Belén is among Argentina’s preselected titles for the Oscars and is also one of the four pre-candidates for the Goya Awards in the Best Ibero-American Film category.
